This railing caught my eye when we were eating at the restaurant on the lake. Though I prefer it in black and white, I also produced a color version due only to the golden hue formed by the yellowish light.

I found this in the Catholic Cemetery at St. Johns, Arizona. The interplay of light and shadow on the weathered statue fascinated me. Only in black and white can I capture the allure.

Navajo Nation near Kayenta
The angular lines of this rock formation, coupled with the wind-blown tree growth caused me to stop and take photos near the town of Kayenta. I was driving from Farmington, New Mexico to Page, Arizona. Best seen in black and white.

Steins ‘Ghost Town’ in New Mexico. There are residents here, so I tried to be courteous. It feels abandoned due to the many ruins at the site. The train passing through provided a great opportunity for a photo.
